Keto Chicken Alfredo Casserole
Check the recipe here
One of the best comfort foods I’ve had, this Keto Chicken Alfredo casserole is perfect for the whole family.
With tons of cheese and healthy cauliflower to replace pasta, I swear it tastes just as good as the traditional Chicken Alfredo Pasta.
Keto BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza
Check the recipe here.
I love pizza, and although it’s hard to make pizza on the keto diet, it’s definitely not impossible!
Here’s a great way to make sure you eat low-carb while still enjoying your pizza night.
I’ve tried many keto pizza recipes so far, and this one is my absolute favorite.
It’s incredibly delicious and not so hard to make; although it will take much more than 5 minutes unlike the recipe above.
Keto Burgers with Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Check the recipe here
These decadent burgers’ secret is the sauce. It is so Darn good my husband could not stop talking about it and was imagining all the other things we could put it on!
If you want to make the sauce even tastier, try sautéing the mushrooms in red wine.
Creamy Tuscan Garlic Chicken

Note: Replace the flour with Almond Flour, and eat with Miracle/Zucchini Noodles.
This delicious keto recipe made with chicken, garlic, spinach, and cream tastes like you’re in a restaurant.

Keto Fried Chicken Tenders

I’ve got good news and bad news.
The bad news is that you can never EVER eat at Chick-fil-A again on the keto diet.
The good news is you don’t need to, thanks to this delicious DIY keto chicken tenders recipe.
They’re so close to the original you’ll swear you’re actually at Chick-fil-A. Except you’re not—you’re comfortably at home watching a great movie with your loved ones. What’s better than that?
15-Minute Lemon Garlic Butter Steak with Zucchini Noodles
Check the recipe here.
I’d like to start this list with a very simple keto dinner that can be made in 5 minutes, which is perfect if you’re in a hurry or simply don’t feel like cooking anything fancy tonight.
It uses zucchini noodles instead of regular noodles to make for a low-carb meal, and as you may know, zoodles are much healthier and packed with vitamins and nutrients, as opposed to regular noodles.
The result is incredibly juicy and savory, guaranteed to be a success even among non-keto dieters. (Read: your kids and potential guests will love this recipe)
Boneless Pork Chops in Creamy Garlic Spinach Sauce
Check the recipe here.
If you love to throw some healthy vegetables with a delicious meat-based meal, this Pork Chops with Spinach Cream Sauce recipe is made for you.
I’m a huge meat & cream lover myself, so when you know heavy cream is actually very good on keto, why not take advantage of it?
The spinach is very useful to enhance the taste while still providing some essential vitamins and nutrients.
I’d also like to add that this is a great way to try and make your kids hate spinach slightly less. I doubt they’ll ever LOVE spinach, but hey, after many times eating and enjoying this recipe, they might begin to actually be OK with spinach.
Crustless Taco Pie
Full recipe here
Who said you couldn’t eat tacos on the keto diet?
Now you can prove them wrong with this delicious low-carb taco pie.
Made with ground beef, green onions, cheese, salsa, and taco seasoning, it’s a keto meal that could easily amaze your guests and become a family favorite.
The best part? It’s ridiculously easy to make and will be ready in a little over 30 minutes (around 35 minutes, to be accurate).

Skinny Shrimp Scampi with Zucchini Noodles
Check the recipe here.
Don’t feel like eating the oh-so-boring ground beef, pork or chicken?
If so, here’s a delicious recipe with shrimp that the whole family will love.
Shrimp scampi is one of my favorite meals, and this one is made keto-approved by using zucchini noodles, or zoodles, which are keto-approved and healthy.
If you’ve never tried zoodles, or if you find yourself missing shrimp scampi, then I’d suggest you go make this one right now.
Chicken Thighs with Mushroom Sauce
Full recipe here
First, let me start by saying that this is THE absolute favorite at home.
Once again, it can feel kind of disheartening that your family’s favorite meal is actually so simple to make… you kind of feel bad for all those times you spent your day in the kitchen with little to no compliments at the end.
Anyway, this Chicken Thighs with Mushroom Sauce recipe is, as its name suggests, very easy to make with chicken thighs, mushroom, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese and lots of condiments—all in one skillet (for easy dishwashing afterward).
I recommend you add this recipe to your keto repertoire ASAP!
Garlic Butter Brazilian Steak
Check the recipe here.
If you’re looking for an exotic way to cook your steak tonight, this Brazilian recipe is exactly what you need.
I told you some recipes above were easy to make, but this one is Ridiculously easy to cook. It takes only 5 minutes with easy-to-find ingredients, yet the taste is very singular and delicious.
I’m sure you’ve never tasted anything like it—which is why you should definitely try it sometime soon.
Low Carb Meatball Subs
Full recipe here
If you miss meatball subs or if you’d like something that can easily be eaten while watching a movie on a family Saturday evening, here’s a recipe everyone will love.
Made with mozzarella dough instead of regular dough, it helps make it very high in fat while having a taste that is incredibly similar to the original.
I honestly couldn’t believe the dough would turn out so delicious, but it did, every single time I made them.
The cherry on the cake: you can make more and take it to work for lunch on the following day! How great is that?
Hamburger Steak Gravy
Full recipe here
“So basic”, I hear you say. “Ya basic!”, I will answer.
Jokes asides, this keto meal is anything but basic.
It has a lot of flavors thanks to the mushrooms, the onion sauce, and the many condiments that are used.
Like other recipes above, it is quite easy to make and shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes.
It’s perfect for one person or for a couple, particularly if you want to eat healthy tonight.
Keto Shepherd’s Pie
Full recipe here
In case you’ve never eaten Shepherd’s Pie before, it’s simply a casserole made with lamb (or ground beef), vegetables and a savory gravy.
Usually, people make Shepherd’s Pie with mashed potatoes, but to make it keto this recipe uses a cauliflower mash instead (which by the way is much healthier, whether you’re on keto or not).
The good thing is this dish makes for a balanced meal that doesn’t need any sides. Eat it on its own and enjoy.
Easy Shrimp Avocado Salad with Tomatoes
Check this recipe here.
Sometimes you just want some fresh and “healthy” tasting, more often than not during summer or particularly hot days.
This keto salad is the perfect way to eat clean food and feel refreshed, although you’re still eating a ton of good fats and protein.

Check the recipe here.
Avocados are a staple of the ketogenic diet.
This recipe is a great idea to make quick keto snacks or dinners, by using the avocado as a taco shell. So clever and delicious.
Loaded Cauliflower
Check the recipe here.
If you’re into loaded potatoes, this cauliflower mash is as close as you could ever get to the original recipe.
I won’t go as far as to say it tastes exactly the same, but I will say that it is seriously delicious and mind-blowing.
I never knew cauliflower could be that good.

Want to make a super easy yet tasty dinner in less than 5 minutes?
Look no further, these bacon wraps are exactly what you need.

Big Mac Salad – Cheeseburger Salad (Low Carb & Gluten-Free)
Check the recipe here.
The Big Mac is one of those things you can’t have on the ketogenic diet, not even in your wildest dreams.
But I’ve found this healthy salad to taste quite similar to the original burger, and some of you might not even miss the bread.
Honestly, I do miss the bread. But it’s still pretty good and satisfying.

Hi there,
I’m starting on the Keto diet and so is my husband. He has type 2 diabetes and since we both started a low carb diet he has lost from 210 down to 178 in 9 months while I have lost from 148 to 130 in the same amount of time. We are big eaters, ugh, and wonder is the Keto diet has limits to how much is allowed in each meal? We don’t snack but have full meals so it’s a question of are we allowed to eat more than say a 1/2 cup of each food?
Hey Vickie, the main point of the keto diet is to get to a point (where you’re at now) where you don’t need to watch how much food you eat anymore. You should eat enough to feel full, but not too much that you start feeling heavy. If you want to keep making progress, I’d really recommend you to read articles relating to your relationship with food + fasting. The keto way of eating is much better than the traditional one, but it’s not enough in and out of itself if you want to be and stay thin. The next step is to eat until you’re hungry, but not more than that. Definitely don’t starve yourself, though. That’s absolutely unnecessary if you’re already months into the ketogenic diet.
Hi I have started the Keto diet but I’m struggling as I can’t have dairy. Is there something I can substitute for cream cheese? I do coconut milk for cream or almond milk.
Hi Amy, my favorite dairy-free cream cheese is Treeline’s cashew-based soft cheese. You can also make your own by following this recipe https://www.thefullhelping.com/go-to-cashew-cheese-recipe/
Just wanted to know that I love your website name. Ecstatic happinesss just puts a smile on my face. Starting a new way of life in our food choices after watching the documentary “the magic pill” on Netflix and also reading more about Alzheimer’s which runs in our family. Excited to invite ecstatic happiness into our lives. Blessings back to you!
Hey Kate, I’m glad you find the name inspiring, that’s exactly how I want you to feel! Blessings to your whole family, and I know you will succeed!
I am just starting a Keto diet and have questions about how long some foods will keep. I am alone in this so when I make a batch of smoothie that is 5 servings – strawberries, avocado, almond milk and sweetener. I need to store it. Will this keep in the refrigerator for 5 days so that I can use it for breakfast for a week?
Hey there. Yes, this smoothie can be kept in the fridge for 5 days without any harmful effects on your health. However, please note you also lose on a significant part of the vitamins contained in strawberries and avocado when you keep it in the fridge. It’s still totally keto-approved and fine to eat, but if I were you I’d just remember that vitamins die rather quickly once your smoothie is in the fridge. So, just keep it in mind and don’t think “Oh, I’ve already drunk a smoothie today, no need to eat more fruits or vegetables” ;).
I am a diabetic, have high blood pressure and gout. Some of the foods mentioned I can not have because of uric acid that can cause a gout attack. The things I can not eat are spinach, cauliflower, no gravies, nothing white such as noodles, rice, cheese, broccoli, no shellfish, beef, beans, tomato sauce, beets the list goes on. So with that said what kind of recipes /foods would you recommend. I think that most of the time some recipes are not for people who have certain conditions. I know that everything should be in moderation. My weight is about 140. I do excise walking, water aerobics on a regular basis.
Would just love to lose all of my weight on this diet as it just looks so good to do and you’d certainly be happy with this diet
I read this because I really wanted the recipe for butternut squash soup shown before you click to see recipes, and that recipe is not included. Where can I find it?
Hello Judy. I have no idea why that happened, but someone pinned this butternut squash soup and linked to my article, which doesn’t contain said recipe. However, I’ve searched on Pinterest and here’s the true link: https://www.wholesomeyum.com/creamy-low-carb-paleo-butternut-squash-soup-recipe/
Thank you for sharing these recipes.
It’s funny how when I was in my 20’s, the saying was fat makes you fat…Flash forward to now and it was, initially, a hard sale for me to try this way of eating and thinking but I did it and have lost around 40 pounds. It definitely works but mainly because of sites like yours that helps me figure out ways to continue to progress without falling into a rut of eating the same stuff over and over again.. When I first tried it, I ended up eating salad almost every night as I was at a loss at what the heck to eat. My end goal is actually just to become healthy as a year ago my Dr. did a full blood work panel and he came back with a list of things wrong with me. This lifestyle works but it takes more work to be sure but it’s worth it, so thank you again for the newest recipes for me to try!!!!!
Thank You for being such a source of inspiration!
These recipes look amazing – thank you – can’t wait to try them!
